Hey guys!
Ok so for some reason when I go to edit my watch preferences in my ginormous list of people I watch, selecting and unselecting the items don't work (ie I unchecked everything a couple of months ago in order to retain my watch list but not get any new notifications because I went on hiatus, but the deviations/journals/etc kept coming anyway), so right now I've decided I'm going to filter my watch list one deviant at a time! That way I'll be able to clean out my watch list AND update my preferences correctly.
tl;dr - if you see me watch you again even though I already watched you an eon ago, do not worry, I am just cleaning out my list. This message is basically directed at all of my friends that I made on here way back when!

Haha hi guys. Remember me? Or has that era passed already.
Anyways, um, I basically just bombed my entire inbox (AGAIN, god I am so terrible at updating this account jfc) so I'm sorry if I missed anything important sldjflskdjflskjdf
If there's anything interesting/important/whatever that has happened, feel free to tell me! Update me on your lives!! ;3; Did you get into a school you wanted? Did you win something? Did you get MARRIED?? Or idk did you get addicted to a new kind of food? TELL ME EVERYTHING.
It's so strange logging into this account. I always feel a wave of nostalgia whenever I see my horrid username. xD; But tbh it's part of the best memories of my life, so I can never bring myself to change it. :') Oops I'm getting all sappy and sentimental someone stop me before I melt into a pile of goo on you.
ILU ALL OKAY I REMEMBER ALL OF YOU AND I LOVE ALL OF YOU, EVEN IF YOUR USERNAMES CHANGE AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE, BUT I LOVE YOU. OKAY? OKAY. I reread what I just wrote and it makes absolutely no sense, but ah, what can you do.

Sketchblog + other things

Hey guys!
I started a sketchblog. My goal is to sketch once per day for at least 30 minutes until uni starts again, which is the end of September for me. If you're interested, my sketchblog is over here. I probably won't post any of these sketches here on deviantART unless it's over at my alternate account psylab because either 1) I really really like it, or 2) it's in a huge sketchdump, so if you want to keep up with my daily art feel free to visit me there!
Also, my regular personal blog is over at michaelspectertumblr in case you didn't know already.
I've been logging in to this account more frequently lately, but all I've been really doing is faving things. I really need to clean out my watchlist, I currently watch 2000+ people and my tastes have changed so that half of the art in my inbox doesn't really appeal to me anymore. D: So I gotta get on top of that. I'm so lazy though, urgh. Also, I unwatched everyone's polls and journals temporarily awhile ago in order to maintain my sanity, but for some reason dA keeps dumping them in my inbox! So weird. D: What are you doing, deviantART?!
Anyways, you guys are awesome and I love you all, especially if you've stuck with me through my hiatus and are still here today. <333 I'll try to get to everyone's messages soon!

It's been what, half a year since my last journal? More than that, actually.
Anyways!! Impromptu check in/update/whatever you'd like to call this in from yours truly!! Prompted by a recent comment Jude left on my profile, haha. Plus I've been feeling kinda nostalgic lately, so yeah, here I am.
I've been (sorta) keeping up with dA updates but I was definitely not prepared for the username change thing!! I think half of the people I watch changed their names, omg. Soooo confusing.
This past year has been me adjusting to college and getting addicted to tumblr + fandom. Yep. That's me in a nutshell. Summer break begins in two weeks for me! Just gotta get through one more week of class and one week of finals, and then I'm HOME FREE TO WASTE MY DAYS AWAY IN FRONT OF THE TELEVISION. Also my family has a road trip to New York planned, so I'm excited for that!! If any of you live in/near NYC and know of fun things to do, hit me up! I'd like to know.
Also, once again, if you want to keep in touch with me, feel free to watch me over at psylab. Or, if you have a tumblr and don't mind lots of reblogs/fandom spamming, follow me over at starspangledshieldtumblr. I mostly hang out there, as a couple of you know *coughLeocough*
As for what I'm going to do with this account, I think I might clean up my gallery a bit and start using it for more finished/original works. I think that would be a good thing to do. Haven't really been arting that much lately though. School and TV have taken over my life, so it'll be awhile before I actually start uploading again (if anything at all, heh).
But enough about me. What's up with you guys? I feel the need to know ALL THE THINGS THAT HAS HAPPENED. So tell me! What are some things I need to know about your life? COMMENT AWAY!

Anyways. Um. Long time no see, everyone! Just wanted to pop in to say that I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful time! (: I also hope that everything is going well for you all. What's up? Anything new?
This is actually the first time I've submitted a journal after the journal function has been updated, haha. Talk about being behind with the times.
